What were the highlights of your trip?
The hands on animal bit was particularly good (ie playing with the tiger cubs), but the whole volunteering (Big 5 and Community) in general was a really great experience. The South Africa Experience was also really fun, and I would recommend it to anyone!
Do you have 3 top tips for future travellers?
Take more warmer clothes like jumpers than you think you'll need if you're going in the Autumn/Winter months. Take more batteries than you think you'll need! Make sure you know exactly what the volunteering is and entails that you have booked.

Sina Horndt, 03. – 17. April 2011 What were the highlights of your trip?Playing with the tigers and going in with big white lions! and i loved the drive through the game reserve seeing all the beautiful animals every day! And just to meet so many wonderful people.
I did the garden route as well, i recommend it, it was amazing!
Do you have 3 top tips for future travellers?Take clothes with you for the weekends, you will party so bring something nice:D.
Dont be scared of tigers or lions!
And just dont worry to much about a thing, just do it, just let everything happen and you will have the time of your life!

* Kwantu Game Reserve volunteering week, * Surf lesson at Jeffreys Bay, * Oudtshoorn - Cango Caves, * Cape Town...
Do you have 3 top tips for future travellers?
* Make sure to pack a first aid / mini medical kit; * Remain flexible, as the content of the tour may change at the last moment due ot unforseen circumstances; * Be polite to local staff (it's nice to be able to speak a few words in the local language) & to fellow travellers.
